thanks for the concern
i'm not sure abt the alzheimer's disease part. i guess i've learnt to take it easy. he tried teaching me chinese chess before, but i cant develop an interest to it and never succeeded in learning it.. dunno why. maybe i'm really a more nature type of person. he enjoys reading books. but he has trouble going to places, remembering all the odd bus numbers that don't travel there at all. and the only other thing he does is to help my mum babysit; watching the tv with her. and entertaining the girl.
skylarlady.. which blk do you stay? weekends fine for you? singerhigh, any docs to recommend?
Shell, I think its pretty norm for an elderly to forget things. I think my 53-yr-old mom is worse. She ask me the same question several times, always forget that she has already been answered each time. I wanted her to go pick up something new, like English lessons or basic computer skills, she simply refuses. She still works though, still able to take buses and all. But she always blame it on her "old age" for her failing memory. I dun even think she's old at all. Worse, she dun have many friends. Kinda worrying me alot too
