Waterway Sunbeam Opposite Kadaloor LRT Station

Waterway Sunbeam, a project bounded on both sides by Edgedale Plains New Road Extension and Punggol East New Road Extension. In front is the Waterway @ Punggol, right behind, the Kadaloor LRT Station.

Next to it is Waterway Woodcrest, now occupied by RiverParc Condominium Showhouse. At the moment the showhouse is under demolition.

Waterway Sunbeam consists of 5 Blocks of flats totalling 661 units of 3, 4 and 5 room Standard Flats. Lowest 11 storey and highest 18 storey.

4 room flat costs in between $ 242,000 to $ 257,000
5 room flat costs in between $ 330,000 to $ 340,000

At the moment the area had been fenced up, building equipments moved in, temporary shelters and stores erected and drilling for cast-in-situ piles had begun.

Managed to capture procedures engaged in preparation for Drilling.

Equipments : Drilling Rig, Excavators, Mobile Crane, Steel Cylinders, Cutting, welding equipment and gas torch.

Workforce : 12 to 15 including supervisors.

Waterway Sunbeam now working in full swing. At one count, at least six drilling rigs were working on the piling system.

A continuous flow of mobile concrete mixers were spotted, supplying ready made concrete to the cast-insitu-piles.

The following pictures show drilling rigs in action. The rotating shaft rotates deep into the steel cylinder depth and cleared mud as it withdraws to ground level.

An excavator working nearby helps to clear all dug up materials for disposal by trucks.
