We will divide the transformation of Matilda House in stages. First Matilda House in it's original form before works begins.

Picture shows the original roof coverings of Matilda House before being dismantled.

Note the different shades of colour of the roof coverings, indicating that it had been repaired on numerous occasions by it's owner.

The dismantling of the roof coverings of Matilda house commenced somewhere mid May 2013.

Note : The construction of the timber joists and rafters supporting the roofing materials were probably done without metal brackets. Looks a bit haphazard.

In it's transformation, the timber roof trust engages steel brackets at every joint.
