If patong beach, I would recommend Royal Paradise.  thumbs up Stayed there (Royal wing - newer) in july, very clean and spacious and within walking distance from all the happenings.....it's the tallest building in patong (if i'm not wrong).

Thank you for your recommendation. Will keep in mind. Actually thinking going to Phuket for the Chinese New Year but only 3D2N not enough. So change plan, go to Bintan instead.  Grin

Anyone been to Hua Hin and Pattaya. How is the elephant's trail. Is it true that elephants ride will go to jungle treks and swim along the river as seen in the brochure?
