For those of you who might be interested in visiting the farms, check out the website below.  there's a free shuttle bus service from kranji mrt that brings you to all the farms.

one word of warning.  don't be misled by the name Fireflies Health Farm... cierra and i were thinking.. wah!  singapore got fireflies to see.. even though it was in the day.. we decided to take a look... to our disappointment..  Cry Cry

I bought the butterhead lettuce for my mum to cook.. 1 big bunch only $1, and super fresh.  there was also kangkong, kailan, etc... all just plucked from the soil.  there were also vanilla pods, etc... climbing on the wooden sticks.  the driver of the shuttle bus is very friendly guy.. good tour guide, kept talking to hunter, ask him so many questions and providing lots of information abt the area.  the nyee phoe is a very nice place you should take a look too, very beautiful plants.

honestly, if not coz i did some research for them on the net.. i wouldn't have known all the other farms' existence.  i only knew of the nature reserve at most.
