Hi Cavin,

Thanks for your feedback!

So which means now I can actually ask my parents/in-laws to apply to be put on waiting list? Is it a must to go for the open house before I enrol my boy into the cc?

Hi Michiimich,

Yes you can arrange your child to be on waiting list, best to go after Jan as due to New Year most CCCs have new and old children in and out.
Following is MCYS link you can find suitable CCCs base on your monthly budget.

http://www.childcarelink.gov.sg/ccls/home/CCLS_Home.jsp

Not many CCCs has open house as their capacity are always full in Punggol.
 thumbs up
Call for an appointment the CCCs you have shorlisted and pay them a visit.

Happy searching. and Happy New Year  Smiley

Heads up for parents with kids in MY First Skool, I think is at Blk 184

I was walking home and saw toddlers at the playground, the teachers are just chatting away facing each other without paying attention to the toddlers at all. Some toddler who are slower at climbing are being push aside by the bigger size ones without the teachers knowledge.

On another occasion, I walked passed their center, a teacher was looking at her hp, she was typing away messaging while a kid was trying to talk to her. The teacher just brush the kid off.

I am not sure if the above is acceptable.
I  feel it is rather dangerous to leave toddlers climbing up and down at the playground without supervision. And it is definitely rude and a bad example for kids to not pay attention while talking.
