Well, I am not too sure if it is true but I did put a pillow under my buttocks to raise my hips when I tried for my 1st one and it worked for me
Quite a number of my friends who did the same also conceived. I guess there is no harm doing that and I read somewhere that if you have a retroverted uterus, it does help to some extent. You gotta put the pillow to raise ur buttocks for about 20-30mins. It can quite uncomfortable but for the sake of having a baby, no harm trying ya?
There are actually methods you can try to "choose" the sex of your baby. One of the most popular ones is the Shettles Method. You can read about it at
http://www.fertilityfriend.com/Faqs/Gender-Selection-The-Shettles-Method.htmlOf course these are not guaranteed methods. It's meant for reference. Scientifically, the Shettles method does makes sense, esp the timing of intercourse and ovulation but the hard part is, for many women nowadays, we cannot be sure of our ovulation period.I personally had to see gynae to confirm my ovulation period (yes, they can do scans for you to check) Thats when hubby and I tried for a baby.
At the end of the day, I learnt that what works for others may not work for you because every woman is different but some methods which dont hurt are worth trying in my opinion hee
