My baby has allergy to cow milk, possibly whey protein. His face got swollen when we fed him formula when he was a few months old. He is now 2 and a half. He has to avoid everything made from cow milk, things like cheese, ice cream, cakes, and even bread. Anyone has similar experience?

Just had a shocking find this morning when I went shopping for groceries.... Fruit Tree orange juice also has milk solids in it... Be careful for those babies who have allergy to milk products cause its one of the last product you would expect to find diary products in it  Huh?

Yeah, it always pays to read the labels. Not many people do.

You'd be surprised with what you read on the ingredient labels of some of these products.

For example, some sliced cheese that you find in the supermarkets (the cheap ones) contain very little 'real' cheese, most of the ingredients are made from by-products with added flavouring. That's why some brands costs so much and some costs very little, nothing to do with which country the product originates from.

Don't think you're getting a good deal by buying cheaper brands, sometimes saving that little bit more may do your body more harm than good.
