Yeah, it always pays to read the labels. Not many people do.

You'd be surprised with what you read on the ingredient labels of some of these products.

For example, some sliced cheese that you find in the supermarkets (the cheap ones) contain very little 'real' cheese, most of the ingredients are made from by-products with added flavouring. That's why some brands costs so much and some costs very little, nothing to do with which country the product originates from.

Don't think you're getting a good deal by buying cheaper brands, sometimes saving that little bit more may do your body more harm than good.

ya... saw on the creamer... label says non diary creamer... but ingredient says sodium caseinate, a form of milk protien  oops

my doc said my bebe is allergic to cow's milk, after bouts of coughs. But so far, when we give her fresh milk, she seems ok. Now she drinks pediasure n milo kosong. In fact, she gets cough after taking sweets. Cold drinks, and other tidbits are not so bad. Just sweets.

I suufer from some allergic reactions to food as well.... I suggest that you find out exactly what are the chemical components that your baby's allergic to as some products out there do contain these components.

For example, I'm allergic to a certain chemical found in crustaeceans and I ate a chicken pie once which contained the same components in the preservatives and I was out of commission for 2 weeks! Had 2 jabs and a bunch of pills to boot. It wasn't a picnic by the park for sure.... so please find out.
