The National Development minister urged buyers not to be too choosy when offered a new flat.
"Be realistic about the chances of getting a flat. If you need a new flat, please take up the new flat even if it's not something you like, even if it's not ideal for you. Take it up and then gradually over time, you may upgrade to the flat that you like," said Mr Mah.My god
::)The first question in our mind..........." There are so many vacant land in Punggol, why no new flats are being plan for Punggol ? Why building 10,000 units all over Singapore except in Punggol ?
Worried no one will take up residence in our estate inspite of so many new recreational facilities on the drawing board.
Knowing applicants may feel not ideal, knowing applicants may not like the location or the designs, why encourage people to buy, knowing people are given only 2 chances on so call subsidized flats.
For me, surely I will wait for the most ideal location, nearer to work, school, amenities, bus and mrt services, shops etc. So when I sell, I'll fetch a better price. Apply for a second flat and also wait for a good sellable location.
Dont forget, it cost us hundredth of thousands of our hard earn money. It is childish to say, alamak, buy now lah, no good nevermind lah, next time look for a better one.....easy lah don't be scared ....
