the smartest investors are the ones who invest in properties coz most properties appreciate over time.. the ones who are stupid will always "invest" in cars (apart from vintage cars) coz they only depreciate until they got scrapped.

some of them due to work commitment need to drive around to meet clients so buying a car with company allowance is called stupid. and those who tale public transports and buy properties are called clever, is it??
I don't think 'stupid' is the word to use. I should say "Bo Bian" (No choice).
Who is stupid to pay COE, road taxes, parking fees for owning a car ? We will not do it unless it is no choice. Although Singapore is small and has good transportation systems, owning a car is still essential.
You can say 'stupid' for those who owns sport-cars in Singapore because, really, where you can speed in Singapore ? So many traffic lights on main roads and cameras on highway....Also, they are very very very expensive !!!
