Work in progress ( HDB Waterway Terraces @ Punggol )

Today we saw the complete transformation of reinforced concrete piles to foundations with reinforced concrete columns gradually surfaced forming the first level.

The site is at the corner of Punggol Way and the Waterway @ Punggol. This is where Block 308C is located. Some of the columns are still with ready-made formworks, others had their formworks removed.

First a bird-eye view of the whole Site stretching from Punggol Emerald to Atreasuretrove on the right. Next from Waterway 1 to Waterway 2 right up to the Johore Straits.

Refer to the above posting and take a look at detail " A ".

Detail " A " shows an enlarge picture of part of Block 308 C. Notice a workman is working on the datumn line for the first level. Soon workers should be working on it's floor level, putting up supports and  reinforcements for the first / second level.

Next look at enlarged picture detail " B " with an erected overhead tower crane installed. Also look at the stacks of brcs reforcement nettings meant for the floor slabs.

Ready made formworks for the Block was also stacked nearby.

We now take a general view of the whole Waterway 1 Building site with two shots, in between Punggol Walk at one end and Punggol Way at the other.

First Picture : As the picture shows, generally, excavators are digging trenches to recover more concrete piles. Altogether there are six overhead tower cranes. In some areas, foundations had been built with the ground level concreted.

In a few weeks time, as work progresses, one to two levels up, we should be able to capture clearer close-ups from long distances.
