The much talk about Scenery of the Waterways in front of the project doesnt seem to impress at all.

It may be recreational, relaxing but not as impressive in comparision to other stretches of the Waterways.

Will be interesting to find out the planned water levels.

I suspect.. I hope.. the water level will be high enough to cover around 1/3 to 1/2 of the grass.. which will double the "width" of the "river".
The "river" should look much better then. If the water level remains as it is.. there's going to be plenty of disappointed residents.

At the moment most of the drilling activities were concentrated on Interlinked Block 308C. Incidently the whole Waterway Terraces Housing Project is shaped like two and a half Pentagon shape structure when view from high-rise.

Four pairs of Drilling Rigs with Excavators and Mobile cranes are working very close to each other on the Cast-in-situ piling systems.

The operation will take at least another few weeks before Foundations and Footings can be seen.

Punggol Waterway Terraces started fencing up of the Construction site in Mid May / June 2011, next followed by the moving in of heavy cranes and building equipments.

Till today cranes, excavators, drilling rigs are still working endlessly at site, sometimes stretching into late evenings. Movements of trucks, mobile concrete mixers moves in and out of the gate in droves.

At the moment there are isolated plots where pile recovery and digging of trenches by excavators are in progress. Soon hydraulic chisels will be used to cut excessive piles to prepare for foundations. This may happen in a couple of weeks time.

Here are pictures of the building site taken from high ground from left to right ( Punggol Way to Punggol Walk )
