Second Picture :

Most of the constructional activities are concentrated nearer towards Punggol Way. That's the reason, a few spots are with columns above foundations.

Workers are preparing formworks for the first level floor slabs in at least two spots.

Initially Block 308C looks like a pentagon, a five sided shape structure as view from highrise. As the structure grows, from ground level to first and second level, it looks more like a horse-shoe.

Motorists / pungollians travelling / walking along Punggol Walk and Punggol Central may have noticed two hugh yellow horizontal cranes that travels by rollers and tracks in Waterway Terraces I.

Below the cranes were numerous prefabricated panels, suggesting that some of the panels used for construction  may have been manufactured at site. ( what are the benefits of onsite prefab manufacturing ? primarily cutting down delivery cost and time )

Lets take a closer look at one of the two horizontal cranes that moves with rollers on tracks. A clever innovation that increases productivity and speed and at the same time saving cost on delivery and handling charges.
