The plan on the LRT is a little outdated now I think. But of course there is no impetus to change, since there are costs involved, and plans now may be changed later. dafansu is probably more correct at this point, since the latest brochure of Damai Grove launched yesterday indicated that the CC is beside Punggol Plaza, not along Punggol Central.

Anyway, these are just projected plans. Until the piling starts, anything can change. After all, if they can build a river (or waterway) in Punggol, they can do anything, let alone a CC. waving

yup projected plan, even the one beside punggol plaza stated as subject to planning approval

could have 3 or 4 or more CCs in future when the town expands. Those proposed sites stated in the PLAN are true.

GRC to collect data for use in crises.  thumbs up

Sembawang GRC is to pioneer collecting necessary data, to aid police , SCDF in emergencies. Basic information about residents, how many people live in the unit, what is the age profile, who is bedridden, who is immobile, wheelchair bound,  how many toddlers etc.

Grassroots leaders are working like bees on the project and hope to complete gathering information for 50 blocks of flats within a year. Probably Punggol North should study, analized, and collect the necessary details. First for the SCDF , secondly to render assistance to the needy and finally to foster community bonding.  chitchat
