For general info : thumbs up

Elderly 62 years of age, who return to the work force engaged in manual work and receiving a monthly salary ranging from  $500 to $1500 should register for WIS ( workfare income supplements ).

On top of your monthly salary, the Govt. will pay an additional 20 % monthly to encourage elderly workers to stay longer in the workforce.

The payouts will be in January 2008 for work done in the first 6 months of 2007. Second payment in April/May 2008 for work done in the second half of year 2007. Good luck.  cheers
