In PunkGo, really hardly see mata patrolling.. maybe once is awhile will see their cars drive pass..
But I am just curious what they can see if they stay inside the airconditioned car?
We used to have mata cycling between estates and blocks and even seen them approaching groups of people under voiddecks..
Nowadays, hardly seen that..

I think these policemen should walk more than drive. I meant this is good for their own health. In army, we patrolling around camp to do guard duty. The policemen should also do their 'guard duty' by walking around the estate ! What's so difficult about that ?

Anyway, I come to learnt that the lowest crime rate estate in Singapore is Pasir Ris and the highest crime rate estate is Hougang. Punggol is sandwiched in between the best and the worst crime rate estates...so what are our chances ?

Better have the NPP in Punggol if possible. If not, the policemen from Compass Point's NPP come all the way to Punggol to conduct their daily checks would make them do a 'hush hush' job.

The reporter on this stomp article is stupid. From the picture, there is no strong evidence the police car is wrong. They can claim they are on assignment so nothing we can do about it.
