Overview:

let's say your are facing the Bali Map, Ok

Kuta is on the left-hand side facing Indian Ocean (beautiful)
Sanur is on the right-hand side facing Badung Straits (I regretted)
Nusa Dua is on the right-bottom side. Facing the Badung Straits too.

Nusa Dua - Kuta is about 20-25 mins drive.
Activities you still have to travel here and there. Takes about 1 day.

Visit Kintamani (Volcanoc mountain with beautiful lake)
Elephant ride
Camel Ride along the beach (don't know which hotel)
The rest are Batik Shop, Furniture Shop, Silver Shop, etc
Beach
Spa
Balinese Massage

Nusa Dua hotels are all the 5 & 6 Stars, should be very very beautiful and comfortable and romantic.

Hey Peace@Punggol!!  I was actually thinking of going there from 20-24th April!  haha!!  What a coincidence!  Truthfully, I know nuts abt Bali..just heard from my friend that I wont be able to swim at the kuta beach cos the waves are very big....  I'm actually 13 weeks  pregnant now so only can do "safe" activities...but she told me that its a MUST to see the sunset...

Alaska, if I go visit kintamani, will there be climbing involved?

no climbing. By car to go up. Eat in the restaurant buffet style facing the lake and enjoy the coolness of the weather.

Since you all go back on the same day 24th April. Could be same flight? SQ?

Go  to Kuta beach for the Sunset. Oh yes.....beautiful.... (bring yr own newspaper to sit on the sand)
You can pleat yr hair there.

I guess you can't go SPA & Massage since pregnant right?
I am not a supertitious person, but don't know why it happened to my son. Bali is a so called Religious island. Watch yr words and actions especially walking on the streets or visit the temples. My son 5 yrs anyhow comment and talk. Came back to Singapore, he was sick. The sickness is not a normal type but I guess those 'things' follow him.

Visit those shops....for sourveniers.
