i'm not sure abt others.. but i know the red wine part.. went to Robert Mondavi's vineyard at Napa Valley, SF in March.. took the winery tour.. man, i love that place!  they have to step on the grapes first, barefooted.. of coz they wash first lah.. I want to go back again!!  it's got breathtaking sceneries!!

Have it ever occur to you that some of them might be having 'hong kong' feet? haha
So did you try to squash the grapes yourself? How does it feel? Must the 'squasher' be 'big' in size? Why can't they just squeeze it or pound it? I wonder....
