I know cant leave maid with children and I'm so scared and worried too. THe thing is getting a good maid is really a case of luck.
So lost with what i should do. Mom stays at Woodlands and with niece and nephew. And MIL not in good health and cannot help to supervise. Infant care is exp and worst baby might fall sick too often that i might have to be on leave more often.
Sigh! Really no best solution.

Don't have to worry too much. Comfort yourself knowing that you are not living in 3rd world country, where children doesn't even have a proper meal.

My friend hire a maid to take care her baby all alone at home. Now her baby is 12-years-old and the other one is 18 months. No problem.

Like what PPG said, it really depends on your luck - be it a nanny, maid/ child/ infant care. My friend once know an infant care who doesn't has enough manpower, and as a result, most of the babies are left crying.

Does the parents know? No.
