When our kids gets healthier, the bugs gets stronger. Then its totally senseless to stop children from interacting one another. I guess as parents, we can only do so much. The rest will be up to God's grace.

Hi,

My son used to get this high fever thingy since he started to attent childcare (half day).Every month he will gets very high fever 39 and above or 38 above even after took paracetamol (high fever kicks in every 3-4hrly).
Only once or twice were accompanied with flu and cough but most of the time no symtom at all therefore doc only get prescribe anti-biotic if fever last more than 4days.
Due to he gets fever every month until I was so paranoid that I monitor his temperature daily by touching his forehead.
On 02 June, I decided to bring him for the Influenza jab which I've been hesitating on this jab for very long. Besides that I also try giving him lots of water, 120-150ml every hr, and make it a point to give him barley water once in a week.
I'm expecting another episode in June but it didn't happen yet.
I'm praying very hard that whatever I have done above will help to end his month fever thingy.

I think my son's PD mentioned abt the fever. The flu jab will somehow reduce the frequency of the weird fevers. I saw it in the brochures. Hope its true. Meanwhile, I only kana tis ordeal onces. Tat was when he was teething. Viral infection.
