$6000 not enough for 2 years kindergarten fees. No need to think so far  smoking

Eg, A "Premium" kindergarten fees = $1300/term. Barely enough to cover for 2 years.

Isn't it all are crap things? The government body just want all of us to place an initial deposit of $6000. They will do other investment for Temasek Holdings etc....

No wonder with such bad times, Temasek Holdings are still have the money to buy troubled American big banks such as Meryl Lynch and Citibank. Wonder why our hard-earned money are being swindled just like that.

Do not think of the baby bonus as the reason of having 2nd child. Shd think in the way of giving the child a sibling or companion to grow & play with.
Not the money that count but who is going to look after the child?
eg. In childcare, when child was sick, need to take leave to look after ourselves. What happen if there is HFMD? How many days of leave can you take? Don't take that additional 6 childcare leave given is enough.
Was sufficient time given to the child that we love?

Unless I read wrongly, It didn't mentioned in the website that the balance money would be transfer to CPF.

ya i know it is not mentioned in the website but i heard from my hubby's cousin, who has 3 kids. she said the money can only be used for expensive fees like childcare and tertiary education. Pri and secondary?? No No.

Any parents know more about this? Can share with us? Thanks.
