Sorry, my mistake. I have the impression that Mee Toh does Higher Chinese at P1 level onwards, just like the SAP schools. I know of 2 pupils who transferred from Edgefield to Mee Toh - 1 blamed mother for the transfer and more inferior PSLE results compared with good friend who didn't transfer (this boy used to attend prize giving ceremony in Edgefield). Another, mother said that last yr form teacher always absent and not teaching much. So kind of regretted the transfer.
These are only 2 egs out of the many who transferred, so may not be a fair statement, pls take it with a pinch of salt.

Hi,

Just to share. My boy started Pri 1 in Mee Toh this year and they use Higher Chinese text books although they are not SAP school. Maybe that's why parents are confused that Mee Toh is a SAP school. I chose Mee Toh because of its proximity to my home as the primary reason. Whether Mee Toh produces better results than Edgefield or vice versa, I feel that as long as the child is happy in the school, that's the most impt. It's just my personal take.

Mee Toh is just a school supported by Buddisht Association.
It is not a SAP school.

At Primary 5, the student has to make an option to take higher chinese or normal chinese.

Look at upper lever rather than the lower level. Understand how the principal is moving her strategy especially for P5 and P6.
