How to know kids ready for P1 syllabus?

The SAP schools like Ai Tong, Nan Chiau, Mee Toh, Maha Bodhi, Holy Innocent, Nan Hua, etc. They are offering CL2 and English as 1st Language.

I see...... so primary schools also have classification like SAP....thought only for Secondary schs......wah must catch up with all these education developments..it must have been a long time for me.. 
BTW, if those kids enrol in these SAP primary schs, will they have an edge going to their preference secondary schools?

what my friend said, they just use prelim results to enter to whatever sec sch. But if the result so-so only then wait till PSLE results.

ok I see...what a change....so next time if my kids P6 Prelim results good, I can use that to a preference sec school & requests the principal to enrol them in first? Or there's also a formal procedure to this prelim enrolment too?
