Hi Elsa & Alaska,
Thanks for the advice. I did put my son on a waitlist at Sengkang Methodist Church kindergarten and St Anne's. As for kinderland, I didn't try that cos it's kinda expensive for me at the moment since my hubby is the only sole breadwinner. I can't afford the school fees which is around 1k.
I will put my son on the waitlist for those at Paya Lebar, Bartley and Yio Chu Kang but in the meantime I guess, just hv to endure that 45mins to an hour's trip to his school. If only there's a direct bus to Bedok from Punggol....(sigh)
Kinderland at Serangoon and Yio Chu Kang are quite big premises.
Along Yio Chu Kang area, seen quite a number of Christian kindergartens.
Hi garfodi,
I just replied to Public on a similiar subject.
I believe most kindergartens have closed their registration for 2009 but no harm placing your son on waitlist. Some children withdraw from their registration due to a host of reasons (change of plans, relocation, etc, etc).
From your list, it seems that you're fine with any type of kindergartens and that helps expand your choices. Have you tried Kinderland at Serangoon? Also, there are some church kindergartens along Paya Lebar Road / Bartley Road (quite near the Kinderland I mentioned). Can give them a try.
All the best!
