If there's any facilities that can be profitable in Punggol, residents can setup a co-op, and build the facilities ourselves. That's provided its commerically viable; otherwise the co-op will go bankrupt anyway.

i think cinemas won't work.. but who knows.. maybe it will be a hit in Punggol. any one with business experience, veterans in any of the above.. petrol stations, restaurants etc.. pls report in, and share your experience.

setting up a bank for example, as a start.. would be great.. usually profitable. then the bank can invest within Punggol in viable businesses.

If it's profitable,NTUC will already be doing it.
Why do you think no one is doing it? Look at the 64+ coffee shop area,the nos. of shop opening and closing,we still lacking the mass.
