This afternoon the debris and parts of the fallen boom were removed
by a newly erected crane at Block 601B/C.  

Block 601C's exterior walls painting is expected to be completed
by end April 2010.  

I also saw workers already preparing the window frames to
fit in the window panes at the 3rd level.

Most of the interior fittings are already done.  I could
see the tiles on the bathroom walls.

I was informed Block 601C is on schedule for completion in 3rd qtr inspite
of the accident.  

After that it is up to HDB to inspect and issue the keys which I was
told is likely to be earliest in September 2010.  If there are many
defects,  key collection for 601C at worst should be by 1st qtr of 2011.

Besides 601C, the other blocks have started exterior wall painting.

So I think by end of May exterior walls painting should be finished
for the 7 blocks.

One unfortunate note about bLK 601C is

there is a huge gaping hole in the ceiling of the
16th corner flat (facing the main road).

I was told something heavy, from the falling crane
boom, crashed into the ceiling.  I can still see the big hole
yesterday when I was there.  The workers put a blue
taurpalin to cover that hole - in case of rain I think.

I also noticed supporting steel structures were placed
against the celing of trhe 15 and 14 floor.
I am wondering if these floors were damaged too.  
I dont see any hole in their
ceilings though.

So until the above damage is repaired, there should be
some concern about Blk 601C being first block to complete
in Vista ahead of the rest.

Anway, I saw workers starting to paint th other remaining
narrower walls of Blk 601C.

I think they are also working on the pavements at this stage
and also the garden plots.

Painting work is slightly delayed for the front row blocks, but
still it should be finished by end June 2010 - latest.
