Four : The 4.2 km stretch of century old Upper Serangoon road, 5th and 6th milestone will be tranformed into a heritage corridor complete with street " sculptures " better footpath and signboard storyboards.
Five : There will be a new one km waterfront walkway / linkway known as " Hougang Walk " linking Hougang Avenue 10 to the Town Centre, sports complex and Sungei Pinang. Residents can look forward to a host of recreational facilities around Hougang Town. Residents in Hougang is of course very excited to hear the news and look forward for the next five years.
The ruling party had already set an example : have a plan, tell the people in the constituency they wish to contest about the plan, tell the voters what the party intend to do,
probably they stand a better chance.
