To certain group of ppl will struggle cos’ they’re holding a temp job their pay is variable. They don’t know after their contract expired will they get another job elsewhere. Same thing goes to the odd job labor. Every month whether they are able or not they have to service housing loan & utilities which taken a big fraction of their pay.  Even Gahmen said they offer help but how much help can they offer. For me, I don’t think I struggle but I need to sacrifice/ forgo some of the activities which I use to have. It okay for me I am adjusting well.

It does seem that the labour market is moving for the contract workers because the companies are not inclined to pay a full-time employee to consider the amout of benefits involved. If it becomes a majority case, then how the contract workers able to buy HDB flats as their employment will be deem as not permanent status ?

Some contract worker if they can't afford then rent from the gahem. The cost of HDB is not really affordable to all the Singaporean. With the new economy there'll be more challenges ahead for all of the Singaporean. This is the hard fact everyone has to learn how to face them.
