Boy suffers head injuries following accident in Punggol Field

it was not a lorry.  it was a van.  the exact point was just below the meridian lrt.  the boy was crossing over toward the bus-stop at the kopitiam and prime minimart side.  he collapsed on the spot, never moved at all.

I think the media tried to "downplay" the matter.

Education for both drivers and pedestrians - simple. Drives need to be cautious driving along Punggol Field, not exceeding 60km/h, and pedestrians check that road's clear, or safe distance, then cross - is this too much to ask for before someone else dies?

The driver is either blind, or idiotic. Why some people are just so careless? If they are careless, they should not be driving. Hazardous to human beings.

The van must be speeding along PunkGo Field.
Else he should have ample time to slow down and even stop before the boy.
