Could somebody ask the contractor of Sundial to stop work on Sunday?

We were informed that the contractor is behind schedule to build the flat, but the dust and noises everyday is unacceptable.    Due to the strong winds we have in Punggol, the dust and contructions particles fly to our flat as Sundial is being built so close to our flat.

My children also got bitten my mosquitoes, i suspect comes from the unfurnished building.  Im afraid that my families or anyone near the Sundial construction sites will get denque fever.

Worse still, they work on Sunday.   I understand they have to work to beat their schedule, but we the resident next door wish to rest on Sunday.  Can we have peace and quiet please, at least on Sunday?

Also, looks at the height of the cranes, it is so tall, near to Blk 166A, 166B etc, if anything were to happen and fall, it will hit the flat next to it.   What happen if my children or parent were at the window?  If the crane fall and damages our flat, its OK, we will get compensation from HDB, but what happen if it kill someone?  Can HDB or the contractor compensate us a live for our lost one?

I hope HDB look into this matter, whose idea izzit to build a flat so close to a populated flat?  Angry

yoh bro
rileks lah
i think you put up with it only recently as you just move in

for me i've put up with it since the day they start piling the ground
and you know piling noise is no joke when you got 3 mths daughter at that time
when infant need to rest more

last time lagi worse got 1 time they pour cement till 2 am bro no joke
and NEA cannot do anything as they said the noise does not over the limit....certain decibel
basket NEA...they think every home got decibel meter to measure the noise

they are not behind schedule cause the contract for home owners are till 2009...its only that hdb the one who rush them

2009 is their cut off date
remember that time alot of company go bust
so hdb extend it to 5 years waiting period instead of 3 years
just in case they kena whack all over just like those blocks at 200+

anyway....completion date is middle of next year
only left 2nd and 3rd level without occupants
the rest is fully book
