well ....sometime this things are very hard to prevent ...just luck ;(

seems like punggol got nothing safe to eat le..   was thinking if i shud treat my godmother to the crab king zi char lei, that one shud be no prob?

it's not like i'm that freaking pissed if he just apologise, changes a new bowl without the mushrooms and shut his trap up... he changed a new bowl with mushrooms although i requested for one without, and kept talking and talking and talking "i cooked one million bowls today and you are the suay (unlucky) one ah!". probably by then the whole pot of boiling soup increased by 50ml of his saliver in it.

and I was thinking "yeah right, it's more like you will be the unlucky one when your stall gets famous in no time." Worst of all, he can still order us around "don't put the bowl there! throw the mee away over there!"

Though not linked to the post, but I also had that sort of experience with the crabs at Sakura Thai-Chinese restaurant (CompassPoint) last month.

Wonder if we should like print the posts on these forums and send to Kopithiam?

No need lah....just count ourselves unlucky that day to have such crabs. They should give a discount or something like that instead of blaming the crabs. Vey unpleasant experience.

I had a very bad experience at the crab king zi char. Ordered a chilli crab and when it arrived, the meat was all dried up and flaky... when I complained, they said they will give a discount... then when the bill came, I saw that there was no discount given, so I asked them how much discount they give.... they replied 10 cents!!!!!!  mad

I will never go there again... lose me as a custmoer for life... and I'll complain to anyone who will listen...

10 cents???! it's not even a bowl of rice!! wahahaha~

About 2 months ago, I saw a big rat running along the pipes in this Sakura restaurant - complained to the person in charge and they claimed they knew about it but nothing can be done, cause they cannot seal up the exhaust pipes. Cheap, ok food but I'll never go there again.
