Shouldn't blocks be repaint every 6 years??

My cluster almost 8 years already.  Still no sign of repainting happening. 
And I didn't know we could vote for the paint color we prefer.  That seems nice.

Repainting the blocks is a good idea, but it spends a lot of time and effort.  The worst part about repainting is that there will be remains of the  old paints on the floor (very powdery), and the block will smell awful.

I just saw the newly repainted Blk 128c (I think) from far yesterday, when I took the connecting road from Sengkang to Punggol East, and it looks really very good.
