hio

Didnt catch this topic till after i submitted a similar one.
Gist of what i posted:
Anyone have any clue on where i can go to complain about smoking neighbours?
They stay below my flat and smoke at the balcony or rooms, every 3 hours of the day.
Since smoke travel upwards, my entire living room envelopes in the smoke for the 20 minutes every 3 hours a day (even through the night). It's not just one person.
I approached them once already to ask them to smoke out of the house on weekends, weekdays i'm fine since i'm not home most of the time but still no improvement. My girl is asthmatic and i dun think i want to wait till we both get lung cancer due to breathing passive smoke over the next decade or so. I've been suffocating myself and my girl by shutting windows/doors once the smokes comes in, and it is ridiculous for us to not even have the freedom to breathe fresh air.

Used to smoke so I understand the plight of smokers nowadays. Everywhere they go cannot smoke, coffee shop must sit in yellow box etc...

To avoid offending &concern for the 'health' of people in their own house they took the initiative to smoke outside. So now if people are also complaining when they carry out their 'habit' outside, what can they do or where can they go? Do you have a suggestion where they should smoke when they need to do so?

I think that's why HDB build rooftop garden? Whenever I go to my bro's house at Punggol..we always go to the roof garden for a puff...but best if can quit lah..been trying very hard to quit but can't ...haizzz longest 1 can tahan 1 month onli...argghhhhh
Not easy I must say but can be done.....I'm coming to 3 yrs this Aug....perseverance is the word thumbs up

OMG...you have quitted for 3 yrs? Salute you!! I have tried nicorette gum, nicottine patch, nicorette inhaler to no avail. You just totally stop or slowly? I've tried to reduce the amount each day but no use...

All those things are pure rubbish. Its your will power that overcomes all. My friends who tried those things are still smoking and they say it don't work.

Previously tried gradually lessen cigs then quitting but only managed 3 mth the most. The last time I did immediate total stop and thankfully till now still have not touched a stick. But have to say it's not easy but can be done. Which when I was smoking at that time this seems impossible. When family & friends ask to quit we have 101 excuses. The only setback is once you quit your food intake seems to increase at least for me & most whom I know have quit smoking.....

Anyway I wish you the best of luck is you intend to quit...
