I doubt the rubbish truck area is an 'approved' area for burning.  The relevant authority,when issuing the permit for the use of void decks for funeral wakes should state in the permit the location to burn the incense papers, etc.  The authority should have a list of pre-determined locations which are away from human dwelling.  This is a basic fire safety requirement as well as consideration for the neighbours around  clapping

But it seems no one knows where are the designated areas..I dont see any areas in Punggol designated for such funerals..cos of the lack of space in punggol?
