A workgroup was formed to examine the anti-social habits of some residents in our heartland. Bad behaviour seems to be on the rise........

1. wet laundry dripping onto floors below.
2. sweeping rubbish out of the door into common areas.
3. throwing rubbish out of the kitchen windows.
4. clearing surplus food from the upper floors.

The above complains received by MPS prompted a Senior Minister of state together with several MPS to form a workgroup  that will look into the littering problems encounter by most Singaporeans in high rise flats.

Our punggolians have been taking about such problems, months and months earlier. Lets hope the workgroup can act fast and plan a way / lessons / TV forums/ campaigns/advertisements or whatever to educate people who are born with bad social habits.  thumbs up

So far, after the announcements, nothing else surface, it was already 2 weeks. Lets watch out for news on TV and newspapers to keep our forummers fully inform of whats going on. Hope they can work faster and get things going at a faster rate.   chitchat

Big sub-title in the press..........HDB NEIGHBOURS FROM HELL ?

THIS MINISTER KNOWS ALL ABOUT IT....... Shocked Shocked

The story was about our HDB boss, once lived in a HDB flat in Toa Payoh almost 40 years ago and knew, " all about those annoying neighbours who let their laundry drip all over yours ".

Just imagine 40 years .........Today in 2008, " laundry drip is still a problem " nobody bothers to stop or prevent such a nuisance. Hope the " workgroup " can get the ball rolling.
