At the moment, in the initial stages of construction, as usual the site were flooded with heavy building equipments.

Drilling rigs, excavators, trucks moving in and out of the site at regular intervals, concreting of piles by concrete pumps working with mobile concrete mixers.

Load testing of completed piles, making sure it complies with Structural Engineers specifications and loading.

In all it willl take at least 2 to 3 months for the whole civil / structural engineering work to complete before actual building construction work commences........

The much talk about Scenery of the Waterways in front of the project doesnt seem to impress at all.

It may be recreational, relaxing but not as impressive in comparision to other stretches of the Waterways.

So far this project had been on for at least few weeks. As predicted many more heavy building construction equipments had been deployed and work almost daily even on weekends.

This picture shows pile loading test in progress......

This picture shows a rotary rig in operation. So far there are about six numbers presently working.

Rotary / drilling rigs are usually used to drill ' holes ' for the insertion of steel cyclinders, reinforcement steel cages and finally concreting to form a r.c.pile / piling systems.
