Why build petrol station near block of flats?

Anybody knows which company will be taking the petrol station at Coralinus? Shell, Caltex or Esso? I pump Shell so hope its Shell. 

ANother Petrol station in Punggol? or you folks are still toking the same that had already built and operating? DO present punggol need 2 station or to have ......

well, it true that is dangerous, but our little island is unlike U.S.A, in States they can have 2Miles to 3 miles 1 station or 5Km  or 10km alway from building but singapore is too small a place to do it. Unless we are expecting to have only 4 to 5 petrol station in singapore, then we cn have 1 in Tuas, punggol end, Changi end, Bukit timah , etc..these are the few places with alittle building  around.
