Joggin this morning at 5:00 am and saw 3 police cars parked at SPC...When I finished my jog at 6:30pm, they were still there, some more sitting outside chit chatting with the petrol kiosk attendant.

Aren't they supposed to be patrolling our area and the multi storey carparks !!! No wonder crime has gone up in Punggol.

Or probably SPC hired to "JAGA" their very important asset 24/7 then I got nothing to say loh!!!  mad mad mad

aiyoh.. why so inhumane? have empathy on the officers a bit la...even night shift taxi drivers take a rest or wash up their taxis during the 'low period' (5 - 6am).. they are not robocops anyway rite?  smoking Unless if you can drive around the limited roads and MSCPs of our Punggol estate for 12hours non-stop,.... hmmmm then u win lor...

Their tour of duty is only 8 hours, but resting for 1.5 hours?! How many people actually get that kinda rest when you're working?

Moreover their public servants and are expected to be on high alert at all times during their duty. They can rest after their tour of duty. You don't see the police and NSFs at the airport sitting at one corner resting during their duty right?

As for taxi drivers, we can't say for sure coz some of them might even have a day job or is working 12 hours shift, so resting is understandable.
