Latest report    : CALL BOOKINGS BADLY HIT.

Taxi drivers      : BUSINESS HAS BEEN SLOW. PROFITS DOWN

Commuters       : MUCH EASIER TO GET CABS NOW.

Some taxi drivers so desperate for passengers had to resort to voluntarily giving discounts or waving the 35% surcharge. Lets wait and see what will be  the next episode. Undecided

Aiyoh, i work in shenton way.  Funny now....u will see long taxi q's but no passenger q.   It's good that at least singaporean show these "ppl" that we are not fools (complaining but juz pay lar attitude).   If we all can do this, hope we can do something about ERP, ridiculous power consumption and water rate charged by PUB and SP, ridiculous public housing prices etc etc etc.   clapping clapping clapping

Looks like, most Singaporeans are trying to avoid taking taxis to cut expenses and  are now switching to  buses and trains. Is this the reason why the authorities are seriously looking into ways to improve services on buses and trains ?

If it is so, then the theory ( cause and effect ) is the same as the ERP / traffic problem.  Grin Grin
