If the foreign sportsman/women manage to win medals in the name of Singapore, how can we as Singaporeans ourselves feel ashame? Its not like we have the ability to win the medals ourselves.

Its not a matter of inability. Its a lack of encouragement and the wrong mindset from our govt. I even remember one ministar even said, Spore so small, where got talents. If we do not believe in ourselves, this country has no hope.

Can we conclude that the Elites are actually despising our own citizens? No talents? Only believe Foreign talents?

In the first place, what kind of education system they are implementing to Singapore? Only memorise from books, outside books know nothing.
