Yesterday got a bad experience with a taxi driver.
Yesterday me, my hubby, MIL and my kids n SIL went to compass pt to eat n shop.
then we decided to take cab home as we buy lots of things.
As usual, we went to taxi stand and took the 1st cab in Q.
After we got into the taxi and ready to go, the taxi driver said too many ppl (4 adults n 2 kids).
MIL say the destination is very near, but he say too many ppl.
Then SIL argue with him and we got off to took another cab.
Behind the Q is another family i think is about 3 adult n 1 baby.
The taxi drive oso dun wan to take.
Even the taxi driver behind oso angry with him, cos he was in the 1st Q, obstructing the way.
So mad. mad mad
Wonder if i should write in to lodge a complaint.

Is there a new rule for taxi saying that 2 kids consider as 1 adult?

Think he is only trying to follow the rules...haha

Can you imagine they are still thinking of another fare increase? Shocked Shocked

Flat tariff of 30 to 40 cents may be imposed to help cabbies offset soaring cost of diesel. ( in our papers recently ). Are they trying to test how much can a passenger afford at the maximum, to travel in cabs in Singapore ? ( Ridiculous )

The Airlines imposed a fuel surcharge to defray rising fuel prices ( that is for air travel, something luxurious ) On the road, blushing blushing the taxis are trying to copy.

One fine day, you'll be surprised, taking a cab can cost more than a plane.  chitchat

Can't blame anyone.....blame the traders who push up the price of oil for no apparent reasons.

Everyody in the world suffer because of them.  We can't blame the govt or the oil companies. The oil companies sell oil at mkt prices.    Who willing to buy them at high prices......the Future Traders and the Hedge Funds.  There is so much supply of oil on earth to last for a long time until we find an alternative energy.
