Putting out your flags for National Day

Eothian, who cares if you're the odd one out? You put it because you're proud of being Singaporean and you want to show your support to fellow S'poreans. I put it to show that I'm with the people, but deep down, I'm not always with the govt (now u know whom I voted for last election). As for protests, try it, you'll be Changi Hilton's latest occupant!

Good ! I wil get my flag from RC then. Should I wash the new flag before hanging out ?

Or rather can the flag be washed ?

I got the flag from NTUC.  You can wash but don't soak, just rinse quickly to avoid colour-fading.

Can anyone tell me why can't the flag be display for more than 3 months? Is this against the law?
