As for 168D, concreting of the main load bearing RC column and walls are in progress. A hugh portion of them had been concreted. Towards the rear of the block, formworks for some columns and walls are still being carried out.

Before precast floor units can be lifted up and put in place, massive scaffolding metal tubes had to be erected to support it's weight. In another two weeks time, block 168D should catch up with 168C.

On 4th May 2010, the site at block 169B was a flat muddy plot, no activities, only with completed piling work. Today, after two months, the concrete conveyor truck is one stand-by to concrete the ground floor.

This morning, the site was buzzing with an inspection team, consisting of Structural Engineers from HDB, site Engineers, contractors, foreman and workers.

Structural Engineer's job is to inspect structural beams, BRC's for floor slabs to make sure  they are fabricated in accordance to drawings and specifications.

Building contractors and workers are on stand-by to correct all faults as pointed out by the inspection team before concreting are allowed.

From observation, the constructional method used defers from that of Punggol Arcadia.

Block 168C ( next to Punggol Plaza )

On 18th June 2010 workers are preparing formworks for the floor slabs to first level.

Today, three weeks later, they are on the second level working on the formwork for BRC's and other steel reinforcements. Some pre-fabricated units are on site, ready to be hoisted up for installation once the floor is ready.
