Next will be the removal of the cabin / driver's compartment with the crane tower.

The whole unit  pivoted on a revolving base is attached to the vertical steel supporting structure.

The dismantling process needs the whole team to be kept on it's toe. Any slight mistake is not permissible.

The limited space on the ground, the proximity of four overhead tower cranes operating at the same time makes the operation difficult.

The 250 tonner driver, the overhead tower crane ( 168C ) driver, workers removing bolts and nuts, the Supervisors, Engineeers need full concentration and teamwork.

We must not forget, teams of riggers with slings attached to removed parts, guiding it to reach the ground, having to manoeuvre within a narrow space in between other crane booms swirling overhead. thumbs up
