Have you encountered any inconsiderate neighbours doing selfish acts?
The ones I've experienced:
- upper floor throwing food out of the window with some spilled over to my window-ledge
- throwing cigarette butts on the stairways
- treating the stairway landing as personal space by talking aloud, cutting hair, sitting around, etc
All these even when the Town Council has issued flyers to "educate" owners to be considerate.
What do you think can be done to achieve an hygenic and friendly neighbourhood?

Sometimes the throwing is not the floor above but higher up... Have u people also ever considered birds that carry food from the rubbish area or truck then fly over and spill on your ledge.?? I have seen mynahs and other birds as high as 18 floors on the ledge. Think about it, unless you actually SEE the person throw I think you cannot just say or assume its from above! WHAT IF.....?? The poor guy above probably is as helpless to stop it as you are..Unless you have proof he threw litter and have seen it,otherwise how can you condemn him or accuse a person based on circumstancial evidence based on because he is the only one above you then must be him?! Look at the ledge below yours ...does this mean the one below is littered by the one above too or are you the one who now is the litterbug??
There is also a fine line between what is acceptable. I dont see sitting around is doing any harm..this is a public housing area...these are also considered public areas too ..!!
Of course I dont condone littering and excessive noise and other anti social acts but let us all live and let live whenever possible...
Because this is not pvt property or landed property then its different story, and even if you bought a landed property, you can only fuss about the area you paid for not the one outside it!
