Did anyone realise that Town Council actually reduces the container this year for burning joss papers?? I just did the burning an hour ago.. oh my.. there's only one container @ the common area..(last year there were @ least two around the same area).. the container is so full while everyone is still trying to burn the papers in.. plus.. wind is pretty windy, the burnt papers were flying around, so dangerous!!!

Saw people burning joss paper on the road pavement under my block when going home time just now...hdb should provide more burning container for the 7th month...

I've worked in Town Council before.. during my time, we have to ensure that the cleaning contractor placed sufficient (at least 5 containers) around the void deck for the residents to burn, but don't understand why.. we've got only one here...

Yeah.... I saw a couple burning papers just now(near Blk 133)  Wink and the papers were falling out of the tin. However, the other neighbours still continue to join in.... sigh.... we need more bins....we need more bins....
