I can see Piper planes, so gotta be trainees.

30 years before, Paya Lebar maybe a suburb, but now it is a centre
and busy place in this island,
It's really a wrong choice to situate a airbase in such place.

There are still some better places, like Tuas South extension,
which is like peninsula,  surronded by water, is it much reasonable
to locate the airbase there? At least can move those testing and
training activities to the tuas reclaimed area.

Better still if they reclaim Pendra Banca and built an airbase there.   They can takeoff toward South China Sea and no need to make sharp turn to avoid Johor.
