Tian, I'm just like you, wanting to go to these exotic places but don't have the $$$. Do you dive? If so, check out the SIG on Punggol divers.

Never been there but my friend was there for his honeymoon.
He says that it has a lot of water sports & food available.
Beside that, not much other things available.
