If you have been to the one in Florida, you gonna be dissappointed to the one in Japan..
Firstly, they speak Japanese, so unless you understand what they are talking about... it can be a little boring.  and the rides are not as fun as in Orlando.. e.g. some rides in Orlando are really pitch dark, increasing the excitment factor.. but similar ride in Tokyo disney, not as pitch dark.. so less excitement.

hi there,
can anyone tell me what's the best time to go to tokyo disney (which season??)..wif w kids?Huh? and main concern would be how long is the direct flight. was planning to take them to hk disney which is nearer, but i am afraid that it won't be as nice as other disney cos i have been to disney world in florida....sigh thanks

thinking of going to Tokyo F&E for my honeymoon. my wifey wants to go shopping.   Cry  waiting for the Natas fair look look see see first.

think not going to the Disnyland as we had visit the HK one. Indeed lots of PRCs but who cares... it's free since my friend works there.

however, my main concern is the language barrier.   Undecided

Hi Snowmanyee,

Many young Japanese speaks a bit of English these days so its not that bad. But it helps if you bring along a travel guide with basic Japanese translation.
We were there in March, also Free & Easy. We stayed in Le Meridien at Shinagawa. (just 5 mins walk to the nearest Shinagawa station). Navigated Tokyo & Osaka on our own, quite manageable actually. The JR lines can get a bit confusing at first but after a while, you get use to it. Just ask for help if you are lost, the people there are quite nice.  clapping
